What you should know about dental health

  • Children should go to the Dentist no later than their first birthday.
  • Children’s teeth are important to eat, speak, help permanent teeth come in properly, and dental pain causes lack of concentration in school.
  • Children should go to the dentist every 6 months.
  • To prevent cavities, parents should take their children to the dentist every 6 months. Brushing, flossing, a balanced diet, and supervising and teaching your children will help give your child a lifetime of healthy habits.

This Program is funded by the Children's Services Council of St. Lucie County and the United Way of St. Lucie County.
