If You Have Medicaid
You have two dental plans available:
Some of the services that are covered are: cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, sealants, fillings, pulling teeth, and braces, if needed.
To apply for Medicaid, find out which plan you have, or change your dental plan, go to www.medicaidoptions.net or call The Medicaid Helpline at 1-888-367-6554.
For an appointment, call the Health Department at 772-462-3800 or the Florida Community Health Center at 772-461-1402.
If You Do Not Have Medicaid
Apply at www.medicaidoptions.net or call the Medicaid Helpline at 1-888-367-6544.
If you do not qualify for Medicaid and need financial assistance, please call 772-342-1502 and leave a message.
Healthy Foods
When choosing snacks for your children, keep in mind which are healthy for them and which are not so healthy. Remember, childrens should eat at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies per day.
