Providing primary health care to the indigent, medically uninsured, and underinsured people of St. Lucie County.
Primary medical care services are an essential part of continuing health and well being…
Many people are in need of medical attention but lack health insurance. They have nowhere to turn and cannot afford to go to the doctor or emergency room.
The HANDS Clinic provides primary health care, health education, and referral services. The clinic is located at the St. Lucie County Logistics Center (3855 South U.S. 1, Suite B), and is staffed by volunteer physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals.
A few select number of our patients are working with cutting edge researchers and bio-tech companies to receive the latest drugs by participating in clinical trials under strict physician guidance. Ask your HANDS physician if you may qualify for a clinical trial we are participating in with local researchers.
The current trials underway deal with HIV and Hepatitis C Infections of all stages.
